Leather shoes

Make sure your shoes are dry and brush away dirt and dust from their surface. For little-used shoes are colorless shoe polish and also various instant creams suitable. If the surface of the shoe is already scuffed, a colored leather polish is recommended. Always apply conditioners on a clean, dry surface with light, circular motions. Use a sponge, brush or cloth. Allow the shoe to dry for a while for the conditioner to be absorbed and affected. Finally, polish the surface with a soft cloth or brush.

Suede shoes

Allow wet shoes to dry at room temperature. Brush the surface with a foam sponge or suede brush. You can easily remove stains with suede gum or suede shampoo. Shoes should be regularly protected with suede conditioner.

Rubber boots and all-weather shoes

Wash the rubber boots and the plastic shoes, like Crocs sandals immediately after use with lukewarm soapy water and a soft sponge. Do not use soluble detergents and a coarse brush. If necessary, you can treat the shoes with a suitable conditioner (Rubber Conditioner, Silicone Oil). The shoes should be kept upright, cool and protected from light. Be sure to remove the wet insoles during drying.

Canvas and sports shoes

Brush the dirt off the surface of the dry shoes. Most shoes can be wiped off with a damp cloth on both inside and out. Check with your shoe care provider or dealer whether the shoe can be washed by hand in water or in a washing machine. Most Skechers shoes are machine washable.
